When I studied Conga, everything with a motor started sounding more interesting..windshield wipers for instance...This is a very cool video.

Yo congaman i hear ya i worked in on and around many machines in my life heavy industrial trucks milling machines,

just listening to the different beats and rythms of these machines facinated me with,

the timeing and rythmic beats the sounds made as bolts cogs or wheels turned then dropped from cradles or as above the pulsating sounds of motors,

the vid above was cute for show of factor it's 100% cool..

Yeah, I saw that before. Funny as hell!
"everything with a motor started sounding more interesting..windshield wipers for instance" yeah they often, as the traktor, have very complex (barely reproducable) sounds.

Music's everywhere, you just have to listen!! Art is everywhere, you just have to see!

Just like a real drummer, always playing louder than the rest of the musicians.

no what I'm saying is I have a board for serious working dog people. Lots of ruff and gruff Cops, Police Dog trainers, Marines, former Marine etc...

I would love to have you guys but it's a dog board first and you might get "bit" be people who are more aggressive than me. If you go, be careful about asking pet dog questions because you will be jumped on for being an idiot. That doesn't mean you actually are an idiot but you will be considered one by the majority of the board. Also don't bring up stuff like Ceasar Millan because that will get you laughed at too. It's a hardcore group of people but I find them to be very interesting. They all know I am a musician and there are a few people who play guitars too.

As for the board, it's the same style as the garden. It's an organic free for all that changes as the board needs. Anything is open for discussion. So if you're into guns and dogs that bite, cars and trucks by all means join.

So please check it out and report to me or back here and I would be happy to create a harmonica section.

Anybody who comes over, will be protected by me and you'll be granted a modicum of respect from the general populous because you are harmonica players.

Back when I was in the printing industry I ran the folders on a regular basis and every fold had its own rhythm and usually reminded me of a song. To do a "gate fold" required a special attachment. Its rhythm was "clackity clack clack, clackity clack clack...". I'd have the "Bonanza" theme song stuck in my head for days!
