I went to a blues jam last night that two of our forum regulars frequent. It wss the coach and horses blues jam and the board members were Oisin and leonid. It was great and I had a great night. It was good to sit with two fellow harp players and chat harp, techniques and gear with. Saved my womens ear from constantly getting chewed off. The music was fantastic. Proper musicians that knew what they were doing. I've only ever been to a local blues jam, that seemed to be more of a free for all, with a few blues numbers amongst punk rock covers, nirvanna tribute acts and a couple of Hendrix affectionaires. ( dont get me wrong, i like some punk and loved nirvanna..... But not at a so called blues jam) So if anyone is within reach of Leyton in east London, then I would definately recommend the effort of getting there. Thanks to Oisin for the company, the beer and the smoke. Music's even better when battered.(I've also commited the cardinal sin,,,,, I came home and found your lighter in my pocket. Please accept my sincerest apologies) and thank you to Leonid for showing me how to play a harp. Leonid is a sh*t hot harpster. I will def be going again when I can. Oisin and leonid, my email is lukejones33 at hotmail dot com
