It's a good start, as long as it doesn't get misappropriated. New Orleans' Musicians' Village is a cool community that was built here for many musicians after Katrina. It was spearheaded by Harry Connick, Jr. and Branford Marsalis.

When a state has a bit of culture that is endangered, their stepping and those residents who are able to donate to help it flourish is a great thing.
