Hi Guys as promised here is SON OF DAVE performing at the Blues Kitchen Camden.
For me the sound quality was way too high for my camera and as a result the sound is quite poor to me.
I spent most of the night either with the camera up above my head or standing on a chair until I got told to get down so sorry about the camera shakes.
Please spread the word and get me some more subscribers’ for my YT channel
Many thanks Russ

Hi Brandon, I could not see sorry but I am sure it was a Fender black face of some kind. I was trying to see what pedals he was using. you said the akai can be problematic how does it compare with the Boss loopstation or are they too far apart to be compared that way. What I mean is can you do the same things with the Boss as you can with the Akai? cheerz Russ ---------- Oxharp
Yeah he just said he had "a small amp" and I never got the chance to follow up on that. One thing's for sure, he's not a gear guy. -------------------- Murray. The smartist formerly known as Elwood.
@oxharp I have not actually ever used the boss loopstation, but I do know it's specifications rather well. The problem with the boss pedal, as well as most other looping pedals is that they can do "too much".
Although they have many really cool functions, like built in drum beats, tuning tones, programmable sound features, and infinite delay settings, they can be a bit overly complicated. The Akai pedal is by far the most simple. Press one button to record, press the other to play. It's that simple. However, sometimes if you do not press the button just right, the function may not turn on or off, which throws off your grove. This happend to Ben Darvill in one of the videos that you posted. It's a pain at times, but the pros of the pedal far outway the con's for me. Plus, the Akai costs less than many of the other pedals. ---------- Brandon Bailey
