Let me begin by saying: Hi, my name is Cisco and I'm an amp-aholic. I just love hand wired tweed amps, both for guitar and for harp. Last night I was practicing harp and I lined up 3 amps to play with, a Super Sonny, Fender 57 Deluxe RI and a Fender 57 Champ RI. After a couple hours of practice I was really digging what the 57 Deluxe can put out for awesome harp tone. The 12" smooth cone Jensen P-12Q speaker really crunched with great bottom end and the 12 watts of power was huge sounding. The only mod to the Deluxe was to change out the first 12AX7 to a 12AY7. I wouldn't hesitate to take it out on a gig and mic it or even have it as a gig backup amp. I love tweed circuitry!!

A tweed Deluxe is a fabulous sounding amp. The biggest downside is the need to amplify it through a PA in most venues.

The first step is admitting you have a problem. Good job. Now you just need to give them away so you can move on with your life. In the interest of helping you heal, I'll take them off your hands for you.
