Yeah, that's either a blues or country song in the making-only you'll have to play another harp for it. ----------

Who knows...every single reed might now overblow/overdraw with ease. He could sell them under the name 'Half-Ton Runned-Over Customs' in boxes made from recyled tires. ----------

If you can't get any, don't forget you could always use Delta Frost or maybe even BluesMaster coverplates.

I knew I was going to take a beating after that post. All I can say is that beer, harmonicas, and old Ford pick-up trucks don't always go together. As I have found out, there must be a specific order to use these 3 together.
Harpwrench, I do live in the US and will look you up--Thanks for all the help
Lumpy, At some point, I finished playing and left it on my rear bumper and backed over it.

With a little judicious bending with channal lock pliers Big River harp covers will work, and the back of the plates are opened up more than the promaster. I did that on a bluesmaster and it worked and sounded great.

Call Suzuki customer service. You can get their number from the Coast to Coast website. They'll probably help you out.

You ever see Watermellon Slim's harps up close? He has a habit of, when a song ends, throwing his harmonica up in the air and catching it. Problem is, I never saw him catch it- he always missed. And it bounced of the ground. Every harp he had with him was beat up and full of dents. Maybe thats the secret to good tone??? ---------- Bluesharp- If you don't blow you suck...

It reminds me of my Bluesmaster key of A that I gave to my son. He left it out and the dog decided to chew on it. It was in a Seydel leather carrying protector so it just got bent at one end pretty good. It amazingly still plays (or maybe I'm just bad enough to not notice the difference). The sad part is I gave my son that harp cause I really had a fondness for it as I learned a lot as a beginner with it. Oh well, now he has an old SP20 in key of A I gave him.

I'll try to remember not to inform you if any of my relatives get run over by a truck.

Snakes- A leather protector bag and a dog... hmm. Seems like you might have seen that one coming. :)
When I was a little kid my Mom bought us a little stuffed animal rabbit with real rabbit fur. It wasn't long before the cats tried to see what kind of stuffing it had.

Thanks for all the help. I will take the advice and thanks for the jokes as I wouldn't expect anything less from this crew. As a matter of fact, I'd be a little disappointed.
