It is great to see Jerry "Boogie" McCain on the honorable mention list. I first saw him on the Kenny Wayne Shepard DVD "10 Days Out" along with several other great southern bluesmen.
My son bought me one of his CDs for Christmas and i just love it. His songwriting tells it like it is and I found his harp playing unique. Great tone and most of his licks are something an intermediate can pick up on and figure out.
I've never found him on youtube. Anyone know where any videos of his playing might be?

Jerry McCain's a monster player. His most famous tunes are his instrumental "Steady," and a tune covered by the T-Birds called "She's Tough." He also did a bunch of stuff for Jewl in the 60's, including several instrumentals using a tremelo harp and on a tune called "Midnight Blue," he is one of the first guys blowing harp thru a Leslie.

Hey, he does play in the second one. You just have to sit through a bunch of crap to see it. He plays a song called "Let's burn the crack house down. Check it again.

You have to go to about the 2:41 mark to start to see him play and sing at some little street fest.
