I am putting together a celebration of what would have been the 80th birthday of "Little Walter" Jacobs.
LW's actual birthday was May 1, so to accomodate players that have regular gigs on Saturday, we are doing this on Sunday, May 2, 4-7 outskirts of San Luis Obispo, CA.
Up to six local harp cats will be playing ALL Little Walter songs, with a BLOWOUT finale. ( I'm considering "Shake Dancer" for this ).
Backing band is a collection of All-Stars, with some SPECIAL guests on drums and maybe bass.
Will inform as events develop.
