Jason Ricci is coming to my house for a few days early next week.

Who wants to do a seminar early next week? We could do it in my shop and then I could sic my dogs on you for playing poorly. I've found out that students learn very quickly when the choice is learn or get attacked by a Malinois.

When is he coming? I would love to bring my "world class" ass up to Phoenix and bury him with my "guru" harp skills. Or maybe come up and see how much I could learn from you both. Anybody else from AZ Tucson area going, I need a ride.

send me an email. groovygypsy at gmail

I have no idea what the plan is until I talk to him. I talked to Buckweed this morning but he had more important things on his mind.

Jason's gig is Wed night and my band is going to open with a set.

I live in Tempe. Yeah we should definitely do a meet up. I think Cisco lives in Tucson, and SirSucksAlot lives down at the border. Not sure how many other harp enthusiasts are in the area but are just not on these forums... There certainly could be several more who would come if we ever got some sort of AZ harmonica thing started up!

a little excessive? I don't think so. Just think you could be one of those guys that people want to interview when Jason and I are dead....

"You studied with Jason Ricci AND Chris Michalek? And you lived to tell about it"

You could be like a person that studied with Big Walter and Little Walter...where are those people now? They have be "silenced" because the truth is, living legends like me and Jason don't like the real truth of how to play the harmonica to get out to the masses. Isaac they will want you to write a book on how you toughed it out after beatings with monkey paw and rottweiler attacks.

Now I think about it, it should be $2500 per person, I think it more than worth it for the fame that will come to you later.

Can we pay an extra $100 for every extra rotty attack? Or are the rotties there to make sure we actually pay up? Will Jason's cats be there too? I'm not sure if I can deal with a cat attack after the dog attacks... That may be too much for even some one like me to take with out blowing chunks every where!

Well, Madcat Ruth studied with Big Walter and he charges somewhat less for lessons. But Madcat doesn't offer the attack dog motivational thing, so that may explain the substantial price differential.

I am in Quartzsite. I was thinking of going. I thought this might be some kinda free get-together.

I am poor, and $1500 can buy alot of food.
