Linda Ekstrom is a name that rings a bell. I may have encountered her in my LA days working at Sam Ash in Hollywood. Don't remember hearing her play. I can find no audio or video and few photos. You would think a "professional" would have a bigger digital footprint.

Yeah, I did a web search that yielded nothing that would verify her harp credentials. Thanks Ryan, maybe some other LA peeps can provide more clues. I played several gigs in LA where they wanted a harmonica player (so I didn’t play guitar), guess that makes me a “professional harmonica player” LOL
I listened to that video & not impressed at all and wouldn't consider that pro level playing. Just my opinion. I've been paid for gigs but I would never consider myself a Pro. My playing has never been and will never be on what I consider a professional level. Also I'm not near good enough to make a living at it. And I doubt She is or was. Wikipedia is not always correct !

Has anyone tried to duplicate her performance? What key harmonica?
The singer is certainly overwrought.

Oh, and “professional” can be used to suggest different things.
Reminds me of the old joke, what is the difference between a professional harmonica player and a large pepperoni pizza?

A large pepperoni pizza feeds a family of four.
