Thought I would post this here first. I have quite a few used Hohner marine band 365 Harmonica’s that deserve to be played. Unfortunately, the top octave is very clunky. The blow notes increase in pitch three holes to an octave, but the draw notes are four holes per octave. Add to that, this harp starts in C3, a “low C”. Here is one solution that seems to work better than others. Bottom holes are tuned like a Melody Maker in G cross, in fact all three F notes are now sharp—so the harp is tuned to the key of G. Hole 7 blow is now A, duplicating draw 6, making it a “Power” tuning. Starting at hole 3, all draw notes are the same—B D F# A. As for the blow notes, each octave is a different variation on the C arpeggio— C E A C E G A C E G C E G B D G B D F# A B D F# A B D F# A I’ll make a video soon, bet you can’t wait! ??
As I mention in the video, I also made one that is solo tuned in the third (so, as well as second) octave. Better than stock, brothers. That 365 tuning is bonkers on top.
