Some of you may have heard that JP Allen, of harmonica.com, sustained some serious injuries after a big fall. This happened a couple years back, and JP's been on a long road to recovery. He recently posted an update over at his GoFundMe. He's playing music again and hoping to record a CD.
He also posted an 18 minute livestream concert: JP's Facebook Livestream
Here's the text of his update: "Hi. This is JP. Thank you so much for all of your support. You and many others have helped me to start over and rebuild my life. I've been doing well in my recovery process and my condition is stable. I've been playing a lot of harmonica and writing songs again. I feel inspired. I've recently decided that I'm going to create a CD of original music. If you choose to make a donation, your donation will go toward that goal. Whether you make a donation or not I will be sharing the CD on YouTube so if you're interested you will be able to listen to it for free. Just today I did a live stream and played some harmonica."
Glad to hear he's doing okay. He's since handed over the reins of harmonica.com, but it's great he's making music and seems to be in a good place. He's always struck me as an upbeat guy.
