Cool, what a gem find! Kim going after it, with plenty of "note-for-note" that you know he could copy 100% if he wanted and yet his own variations in the pocket, feel, style of Little Walter. He even threw in a chorus or two from Off The Wall. I was playing full-time in a Honky Tonk band based in San Diego in 1978 and given playing almost every night and on the road had not even heard of Kim at that point. Thanks for sharing.....likely a Super Reverb? That is what Greg "Fingers" Taylor showed me his rig on stage was playing with Jimmy Buffett, of course I went out and got one too!

I think Kim has a presence in San Diego now, not sure if he lives there but he plays there a lot.
From what I have seen & heard, Kim has just been coming down here to San Diego once a year to play at Christmas time for his annual show at "Winston's" in I believe Pacific Beach area. I went to it last year. Otherwise I believe he lives up along the coast (Goleta?) on the north side of LA. My info could be out of date though.
Kim lives in San Juan Capistrano. And he headlines a few of Cadillac Zack’s shows in Long Bech every year and occasionally shows up to support other harp players. I’ve seen him turn up to play with RJ Mischo and with Aki Kumar. There have been many others. Kim is a legend.
