For those of you who don’t know, Mooncat (Jason Ricci, one of our forum members) had an incident at his New Orleans house yesterday. He had just walked in to the house from his front porch when he heard gunshots. He dove to the floor and a random bullet hit a cup on his computer desk WHERE HE NORMALLY WOULD BE SITTING, having passed through a hat. Neither he nor his wife, Kateilin, were injured.
It was apparently two cars chasing each other and shooting. Three houses down I believe some people were killed.
I’m so glad one of our musicians escaped injury or death in this violent world.

I saw his YouTube channel video. He was fortunate to have not been in his chair.
Similar random retaliatory gunfights seem to be the new urban norm. Houses not built of brick or stone cannot stop bullets from penetrating and endangering the residents. We have similar issues in our much smaller urban area.
I am troubled by Jason's near miss, but relieved it did miss.
