For single reed replacement, is a specific reed (let's say a C5) interchangeable with another C5 regardless of key of harmonica, or if it's a special 20, rocket, or rocket amp?

Thanks, Doug

Sp20, Rocket, Rocket Amp, Marine Band, Deluxe, Crossover, and Golden Melody all use the same reeds.
A C5 reed is only compatible with C5 on another harp if it matches the slot dimensions.
The harps in question use 2 different templates. The keys below C (inclusive) use one template, and those from Db and above use the other.
The high range harps slot 1 is the equivalent of slot 3 on the low range harps.
Perhaps of greatest interest are slots 4-7, due to the regularity with which these fail and need replacement.
For instance, slot 5 draw on a D harp is the same reed as slot 7 blow on a G harp. This is a very useful match.
Slot 10 on the low range harps is a unique dimension.
Of course, there is no equivalent in the low range harps for slots 8-10 in the high range.
