Between Sacramento and Modesto, Haven Acres is the blues. Right on the delta in a trailer park, in a trailer that has a bar and grill inside at the end of a looong narrow country road that gets smaller and smaller as you get closer. As you travel to the bar you must go over a levee and then you realize that the venue is on the wrong side of the levee. This is the real deal and totally harp friendly. If you love blues you must go here 1691 Frewert Rd. Lathrop 95330, Every Wed. 7pm Some musicians are better than others so you must be watchful to get in with the good ones.
