I don't know when they started making these, but they appeared in the Hohner catalogs at least until 1990 or 1991 and were soon discontinued. I have one and it's pretty disappointing. The comb is wood, and though the tines appear to be metal, they're actually covered with some type of foil material, and are very loose. It's a really leaky harp. They're pretty common on Ebay if you haven't checked there already. Hope this helps!
