What do I do with all these individual hard plastic cases that harmonicas like the SP20 come in?

I've been playing about three years, so I have probably 10-12 of these things. I have a case to keep my harmonicas in already. Is there any reason to hold onto these or should I throw them in the trash?

I stack them in the back of a drawer. Sometimes I use them to put broken harps in, or spare parts, or to hold misc small items much like any other storage container. Believe it or not, some folks keep their harps in them.
But in the main, fairly useless...good to have half a dozen or so but beyond that I dunno. Once you have 30 or so, maybe you can start storing harps in them again...

I'm sure there is some clever upcycling that could be done with them. Think outside the 'box'..... Ha.
I actually only use them when I go away and can only take one harp but want it to be safe.
The Lee Oskar system of interlocking cases makes a lot of sense really.

You could use them as kids toys. My three year old loves opening and closing them.

Like Ian says, they're also good for travelling. I also keep a harp in the case in my desk draw at work in case I get a few spare minutes to play. If you have enough harps and cases you could have one in every room of the house so there's always one to hand.
