So I'm on a scuba dive boat in CuraƧao today with 5 other divers and one guy has a t shirt on that says "I'm a blues guy". So I ask him about his interest in Blues and he plays harp, for 40 years, and fronts his own band in Westchester County NY, The Blues Dogs. I tell him I've been playing harp about two years now and I love it. He goes into his backpack and pulls out a D harp and whips out a rendition of Born in Chicago that had everybody on board lovin it! ( note to self: keep harp with you at all times, even when going diving). If you want to hear some of his sound, his name is Al Frankl and their website is www.thebluesdogband.com.

Excellent experience. So yes, wear a harmonica/blues T-Shirt and carry a harp with you - but which key??? :)
I normally carry an A.
I've been looking for a harmonica T-Shirt, and there are plenty around but a bit cheesy (I ♥ harmonica!!! Keep Calm and Play Harp!!!). I want something more subtle and cryptic.

I found a company on the internet that would customize a single shirt ( about $25-30 if I recall). I scrolled through their standard logos and found a harp with a quarter note next to it which I had the place center front so it shows even if I have an over shirt open. On the back I stole a motto I saw on this forum before ( and I do acknowledge its from someone else), " I get a lot of requests when I play my harmonica,,,,,,,but I play it anyway!"
I'll try to find the name of the company when I get home after the 20th if I remember then.
I also found that if you buy business cards from Vistaprint ( I think something like 250 for $15), you can get at shirt with the order pretty inexpensively.

I have seen a lot of horrible harp shirts for sale on Facebook lately, too.
BTW, I am a graphic designer with a "store" on Zazzle.com, a custom t-shirt maker. If anyone has a great idea for a harp shirt, I'll design it and put it up for sale (with no markup, so it's just whatever it costs for zazzle to print it.)

Really jason? Could i send you some designs?
I have ALOT of ideas for harp shirts.
May run into some copyright issues. I'll have to be careful about the content. ---------- "Trust Those Who Seek The Truth... Doubt Those Who Say They Have Found It."

you can send me designs, but if there is any copyright issues, zazzle won't print them.
zazzle is a print on demand site, so i just upload designs, then you order them and they print and ship them to you.

I'd like one with Snooky Pryor on. I suppose I'd have to do an original drawing then.
