kHz's enthusiasm for Adam's Chicken Shack lesson caused me to revisit it.

Aside from all the obvious things we discussed and liked about it (3D bends and warbles/shakes), what I noticed this time round was something I like about Adam's playing: When he keeps the sound going without much interruption for articulation. For instance in the run up to the warble.

Obviously I don't know what articulation he is using, but it comes out pretty legato, even with changes in breath direction. I've got into the habit of articulating a lot with Ts and Ks etc. when lipping, and slapping when TB. Note to self to go for a more continuous sound on occasion.

Thanks kHz for the prompt.

Np. Lol. I think i use more of a ..
2draw "Haha Hoohoo" ... this is the " 3/4. 4/5" obviously, but just to be clear.... the h is like a k without the tongue. The full K/C or T takes to long for the timing. Give it a try like that.

It's a good lesson man. Haha. I know i bugged out about it, but there s lotsa good stuff to be had in that lil Jam.

Haha Hoohoo on the 34 and 45! Excellent. We couldn't be anywhere else but a harmonica forum eh? :) Maybe that should be the slogan for the T-shirt.

Well I'm trying it with basically no articulation when the note changes, just keep on breathing and slide the harp. That seems to do the trick.

"Just A Little HaHa HooHoo on the 4/5 Dude!"

Or

"Just Hoo It!"

Maybe i do more like dada hoohoo. Idk. But if you found somethin that works .... Good. As long as it sounds right who cares what baby noises you say to your harp. 8^)>

Ah yea i see what u mean. I had to play it. You where having lag between the in and out breath. The sylables weren't really the issue.
