Do any of y'all know the secret recipe for posting links & videos and voice memos from an iPad so it is possible to click on them directly? Thanks

You first need to have them located somewhere which can be reached by a link. I've been using a file sharing service called 'box' but my last experience there was kinda strange, and I haven't yet taken time to investigate why.
Also, there are some things I can do from a desktop that I haven't managed from a phone. For instance, Direct linking to YouTube, as in embedding the video in a post, is easy from a desktop but the iPhone YouTube app doesn't have the embed option.
The 'box' service does have an 'embed' code that makes it easy to post a 'clickable' link.
Without such convenience, you need to write the code yourself.
There is a link on the main forum header which says 'practice your forum skills'.
This includes some examples of the HTML code. I'm not sure how well-maintained it is. I think some of the info may be out of date but try it out and see how you get on.
