I’d like to send a package to someone who would like a few dusty beginner books, one with an instructional DVD. They are based on using tab… So if you could use a freebee or know someone else that can I’d be happy to ship them anywhere in the lower 48, USA.
Havoc, Cool_ I'm happy to see these books found a new home.
A bit off topic but I followed the link in your email. Nice! Fishing including fly is a passion with our family too.
I caught a few Coho last week with the same good ol’ 6WT Fenwick in this photo (from last season). It’s one of my all-time favorite fish pics, or is it a harp photo?
The Lucky 13 was spanking new and echoing across perfectly flat water. I had just tied some yarn on the streamer and BAM! I’m so glad I took the time to let the water flatten and get this shot. It really captures the day.

Very nice! So many things right in that picture! There's definitely something about playing the harp in complete solitude, surrounded by creation! Where are you at?
Fly fishing has been a pretty loyal companion in my life. I've now been guiding for three seasons for another outfitter instead of my self, I don't enjoy marketing. As you noticed, that site hasn't been updated in some time.
I gave a buddy a harp a few weeks back. He texted me the phrase on the directions, "Hold it with pride it will be a good friend!" True words, there something about being able to make music wherever you go.
I was visiting my brother in CO a bit ago, sat on the floor and just played for the kids. Everyone was dancing, they were happy and I was happy to facilitate that.
Thanks for your generosity and Merry Christmas!

That's great playing for the nice/nephews... I have a nephew that I set up with a little 7 hole harp that I built for him.
We live on the Oregon Coast. The salmon photo is from Tahkenitch Lake, near Reedsport. It has miles of undeveloped shoreline with gravel road access... It's not the most productive fishing hole in the area but yes it's ripe with solitude.
You nailed it! I carry at least one "friend" everywhere I go. This photo of Oregon's Steens range was another classic harp spot, natures loop session. I could never pack my trumpet up here.

Fabulous, I've spent some time up in Astoria surfing. I have a good friend there. He and I went to Mark Hummel's Blowout this past year. Love that coast! ---------- If you don't cut it while it's hot......
It’s funny that we’d have so much in common. The surf is another place that I carry a harmonica. It’s great for calling in waves when the swell goes flat. My home break is at south jetty near Florence. If you get out this way let me know.
And,
I shot this video of Mark Hummel’s 2017 Blowout in Eugene. What a fantastic concert and jaw-dropping collection of talent. My wife and I sat about the 4th row just right of center stage.
That is crazy! I'm no surfer by any stretch, being from Utah and all. But I do enjoy letting the ocean beat up on me in my attempts. Sounds good, I think my buddy is coming out this way for our next get together, but will do next time I'm or that way!
We went to the Portland show, yes it was amazing! Jason's family was there, which was neat. I had a short exchange with him, very personable. Seems to be a kind, and genuine person on top of being an amazing musician. ---------- If you don't cut it while it's hot......
