I want to know among you if you can just play from a sheet music .

I am interested in playing Church Hymn . they are mostly simple.

When it comes to guitar I just pick up my guitar and play with ease and am very fast but harmonica is very different .

I want to know those who can play from sheet music and hear their experience . Is it difficult with harmonica ?

If you can read music Harmonica is probably the easiest instrument to play to it.
Music in C ,pick up a C harmonica and you're away
(ist position)
You just have to know where the notes are on other keyed harps eg 2nd position C you are using an F harp. But you should know where those notes are even if you don't read music.

It can be done, you just have to learn where the notes are, and that there are missing notes, you will also need to learn to bend, and depending on where you want to go, overblows and overdraws, to fill in all the missing notes.
Something to think about, when a lot of people bend while playing blues they dont hit the bent note head on, instead there's more of a slurring going from unbent to bent, for melodies however more precision on the bent notes would be needed, the slurring could always be added later for feeling.

If you can read music you might find a chromatic harmonica may be for you, they have all the notes, come in 12, 14, and 16 hole models, for instance 16 hole covers 4 octaves, that's a lot of musical ground.

I play from sheet music on diatonic and chromatic harmonica (and piano, guitar, etc). Like indigo and Flbl said, you need to know where the notes are on your instrument regardless which instrument your using.

I suggest taking a basic piece of sheet music, could be a church hymn. Make note of the key of the song. Decide what position on harmonica (or chromatic) you want to play the song in. Then notate where each note is on the harmonica you chose. Once you know where all the blows, draws, bends, etc are you'll be on your way. Eventually it becomes much easier to know where each note is on each harmonica as you create a mental map of the layout.
