Hi Stephaniesu. When you say ‘reliable articles’, what do you have in mind exactly?
There are any number of fairly solid sources available but we might argue the point here and there about accuracy or expression.
Any particular style of music in mind?
Jon Gindick has written material which seems to bee quite well-regarded.
David Barrett has published a lot of material. It’s mainly Blues-focused though.
Max deAloe has produced an excellent method book for chromatic.
There are many good videos.
Some people respond better to particular teachers than others.
Personally I think Adam Gussow’s lessons are good. I know others who say they can’t learn from Adam because he talks too much. I think those people might be referring to the freee Youtube lessons. I’m referring to the lessons you can buy from Adam via tradebit.
I find Dave Barrett’s website good but I really understand those who can’t relate to it. It’s very thorough but maybe dry for some.
I actually really like Liam Ward’s playing, and have found his lessons helpful. Some like Tomlin Leckie. I haven’t gone there much so I can’t really say.
There are many more. Where is KillaHertz? He had this stuff down really well.

I head straight to Harmonica for Dummies or Blues Harp for for Dummies, which is the one I have. A friend thought I was kidding when I mentioned them, but turns out they are excellent with included cd

While talking of books, Steve Baker produced ‘the harp handbook’, which also has an excellent reputation
