The dryer running.

Funny thing is, I was out in the garage working on my restoration project then and I came in to see what my woman was doing. When I walked in the door I called but no response. Then, in the back of the house I heard something so I went toward the music room/woodshed. Well much to my delight I found Deedie in the laundry room, just off the woodshed with my Manji playing the Star Spangled Banner. That just makes my heart warm and leaves me with a smile.

I bought 2 CDs by Rod Piazza I've been listening to while driving to and from work. I'm liking Rod & his band a lot.
Around the house I've been listening to some of the stuff you guys put up on here.
For something different I've been listening to these guys for about 9 years. Sometimes the original DR. They're all great players.

Still listening to a lot of black metal, since a coworker gave me the tip to download the albums via "rapidshare". (These are records really difficult to get in stores).

On another hand, I'm trying to get familiar to old-school Rock n'Roll because one of the bands I'm in is playing a lot of it. So, I recently discovered Bo Diddley and his "Diddley Beat" and got really hooked up on it. I'm working it on the harp, it's a really fun beat to play on.

I'm listening to a couple of cd's of NOLA Bands a buddy from New Orleans gave me this weekend in Dallas...The classic "Meters Live on the Queen Mary", and contemporary: "Ultimate Rebirth Brass Band".

Also a rock mix that a buddy gave me. He's a bass player in a touring country rock band. I recognize almost all of it although I don't know the names of the bands!

Listening to... my iPod on random like usual :D .
Though someties I pick a specific artist. Lately they've been:
Tom Waits (who I discovered thanks to you guys), Regina Spektor, Howard Levy, Damien Rice, Paco de Lucia, Tegan & Sara, Cannonball Adderly, & plenty of blues ;) . I could keep going but I won't.

I saw these guys the other day performing here in Toronto. They are amazing. I really think that the harmonica would fit perfectly in their instrumental style.

Know any other neat instrumental bands? tell me, I am discovering them.

Susheela is awesome! I recently discovered her. Some of the most amazing vocals I've heard.
