Slowly but surely, I am getting my website up to date. Just before the SPAH Convention I got big batches of Powder Coated Covers and the new Hydrographic Printed Covers. I’ve been offering Powder Coated Covers for about 7 years and moved literally thousands of sets of covers. Last year I got some covers electroplated – Black-Nickel Plated and Chrome Plated. This is my first batch of Hydrographic Printed covers. I got some samples done several months ago and posted photos of them to gauge the interest. Virtually any graphic can be printed, so it is tough to narrow things down to a workable number. In the end, I picked what people responded to favorably from the samples I posted, plus I threw in one that I thought looked cool. I got 100 sets done in preparation for SPAH and the reaction was very positive. I must confess that they are a bit more expensive than I would like them to be. The Hydrographic Printing is an expensive process. It remains to be seen if the market will embrace them. We’ll see. That said, all the Custom Covers I offer are now listed on my website here: Custom Covers by Blue Moon Harmonicas

Tom,
I'm also not sure what the market will bear but I have to say you do beautiful work.
As a player I know most people will never see my harps so that's not a motivation to buy; but as a player I also know I'd be smiling (inside) every time I pulled one of your custom covered harps out of my case - especially the Hydrographic Printed covers. And every harp player in the house would be looking and asking questions. So I guess the trick is to sell one to every harp player on MBH and you'll have a realtime ad campaign.
I'm on a fixed income and not playing too often so recreational spending is limited, but after seeing your website it's time to look deeper into my wallet...at least once. Nice work! ---------- BnT

Thanks BnT
I am aware that, for a lot of players, looks mean little or nothing. What matters most is how they play. I get that. On the other hand, some guys like bling so, I cater to those people too. At this stage of the game, my goal is to create art. Harps that play great AND look great. I really want to build harps that will be valued and cherished possessions. I appreciate your kind words and it would be my pleasure to take care of you when the time comes. ---------- Tom Halchak Blue Moon Harmonicas
