I really hate to do this, terrific Gibson amp, 1954 GA-20 w/original Jensen 12" speaker. Gone through, gig ready condition. I really like the tone of this amp. But...both of our home computers are barely hanging on, so I better try to raise some dough. The GA20 for sale is the brown one with big G logo in the middle, bottom right. Fair offers considered

The Commando is one of those rare amps that lives up to it's reputation, really nice for harp, the holy grail. I have no plans to sell it, however, a buddy recently told me he saw where one sold down south somewhere for 4200.00. That would be tempting! I thought the market was down. Last one I saw on ebay sold for 2700.00 about 5 years ago, in fact, I know the guy who bought it.

Last one on eBay was 1400 but had problems. It was a year or so ago iirc. May have been a bit longer ago. I sift through ebay for certain things nearly every day.
If I had the 1400ish at the time I would have bought it as a project because the cabinet while dirty was in decent shape. All of the speakers were shot and the frames were rusty so it had been most likely stored in a damp place meaning it could have been a gut and rebuild project as opposed to doing everything in ones power to preserve it in original condition.

Heres the photos-the last one I saw on ebay-it actually sold for 1800.00-I tried to talk the guy down to 1500.00,which is where it started, but he changed the price after the first auction ended ,and would not come down-
I'm looking to offload a Meteor Mini-15 amp to any buyers located in Sydney, Australia for a local pickup. It's a fine amp, just a bit more than I need these days. Send me an email if you are interested and I'll send some photos - here's some specs:
Switchable between 2 x 6V6 (20 watts) and 2 x 6L6 (30 watts) power tubes. 15" Webber speaker. Converted by Scott at Meteor Amps to Australian 240 Volts with a 3 pin plug.
Price - $1250 (Aus.)

This amp is as clean as they come and completely original down to the RCA tubes and two prong plug. 5y3-4x 12ax7- 6v6 is the tube compliment. It features 2x8" alnico Jensens, again original to the amp. Purchased from a Valco collector of 20 years standing who declared it the nicest of this model he had ever seen. You will be very hard pressed to find a better example.
Price $1000 including shipping within US.
The amp has both tremelo and reverb, the trem being particularly lush. The amp is very quiet at idle and is fantastic for recording. Given a fatter bank account I would love to keep it but it is surplus to my requirements and the new album is getting expensive.
Need that blown reed on your stainless Seydel repaired? Buy a new 1847 or Session Steel at retail and I'll fix that Seydel for no charge. Also servicing chromatic. ---------- Greg Jones 16:23 Custom Harmonicas greg@1623customharmonicas.com 1623customharmonicas.com
a Don McGohan MG-7 it is very similar to a Masco MA8N I'v owned two Masco MA17 & I prefer the MG-7 it's a powerful little amp from 1953 in excellent shape.
I also have a Premier 50 both are cool amps for sale in the UK. please email paulbellows@hotmail.co.uk if you are interested
The one with built in volume control. It's basically brand new. I took it out of the box, blew some harp through it, put it back in the box and it's up for grabs. This mic is just not my thing. $125.00 shipped in the US only. Emai is in my profile.
Have a Suzuki Firebreath (C) - Has a little playing time on it, but I went thru and set up 4/5/6 OB & 7 OD which come out really nice. Good playing harp.

These are exact copys of Tweed champs. They are supposed to have same transformers etc.. The are killer sounding amps. Mine is all original with cover in mint condition. Original field coil rola. 6v6, 5y3, 6sj7. AWESOME. I have honestly seen these bring over $450 on ebay but I didn't pay that so hopefully someone will get this amp who will love it
Well, the world works in mysterious ways...I have the following for sale/trade:
Zoom G5 - $250
I bought this brand new and it has never left my house. I swapped out the crappy 12ax7 in the tube boost for a 12ay7. I also set up a couple of pages of harp-friendly effects. I really really love this unit, but I haven't used in a couple of months. I originally got it for gigging with an electric band, but that ain't happening.
MXR Carbon Copy - $100
I got this a couple months ago...it has never left my house and is in mint condition. I really really like this delay, but am letting it go for similar reason to the G5, and the fact that I am moving to all Lone Wolf pedals.
BBE Sonic Maximizer - $60
This is used, but works perfectly. Again, I am not going any electric work at all and want to downsize my current gear of acoustic giggin.
Email me if interested. I would LOVE some quality mics as trade...for recording vocals and acoustic harp...not bullet mics, etc. I am really looking for a Sennheiser 441, Shure M57b, Shure SM58 Beta...Filisko harps work too! ---------- Mantra Customized Harmonicas My Website

Kalamazoo Model 1. Genuine closet find and in 9.8 / 10 condition. Serviced by Austin Vintage Guitars who brought it up to spec and installed long 3 prong cord. Completely original except for the cord and one interior screw to keep the faceplate from flexing as per Greg Heuman. You will not find a nicer one at any price. $375 incl. shipping within US.

And I'll have him call you. Is that cool Adam?
I tired to get more pix of the circuitry. It's clean as a whistle. I know nothing about it. He talks up a "fever", on how it is in such good original condition. I heard btween 6 and 8,ooo. If you know amps, you might want this one. I'll leave that up to you ----------
Why is it that we all just can't get along?<

The transformation of Blue Moon Harmonicas is nearly complete. Toward the end of last year I began the transition from offering used/refurbished harmonicas and parts to dealing strictly with new harps (except for pre-wars which I enjoy restoring). I decided to start by offering the most popular models in the most popular keys. Combined with the tremendous variety of custom combs and powder coated cover plates I offer, I feel comfortable saying that Blue Moon has carved out its own unique niche in the harmonica market. I would say it is definitely a boutique type of shop. At this point, I now offer about 165 different combs – acrylic, wood, solid surface (Corian) and aluminum – and I have a very good supply of everything in stock - ready for immediate delivery. The picture below is a sample of at least one of every comb I make (not shown are the wood combs.)
I currently have a selection of the following harmonicas: Marine Band Deluxe Marine Band Crossover Golden Melody Special 20
I am particularly excited to offer Suzuki Manjis in a modular fashion. I have a good selection of brand new reed plates, 5 different custom solid surface combs, 3 different colors of anodized aluminum and a selection of “Fancy Acrylic” combs – all CNC Milled. In addition to the stock Manji covers I also have powder coated red and powder coated black. The Manji has a great reputation for being a very solid OOTB harp and now you can custom design your own personal edition.
I am also excited to offer low tuned Hohner MS Cross Harps – also in a modular fashion. As with the Manji, I have a very good supply of low tuned Cross Harp reed plates and over 25 different combs to choose from. At the moment I only have stock Blues Harp and Big River covers on hand but will have some powder coated covers available soon.
I have a few Suzuki SUB-30’s on hand. The addition of a custom BMH30 comb significantly improves the playability of the SUB-30. Contact me if you are interested.
I don’t want to clutter this page up with loads of pictures, so if you click on either of the pictures on this post you can peruse a photo album on PhotoBucket.com that gives you a sampling of what I have to offer.
Last but not least I am in the process of loading everything into a new and improved website. It will take me another couple of weeks but then I will have everything set up the way I want it. In the meantime, if you are interested send me an email and I will send you a price list.
Here’s a picture of the Manji components – ready for you to design your own personalized harp.
Thanks for looking. It would be my pleasure to serve you. ---------- Tom Halchak www.BlueMoonHarmonicas.com
