I still have the Harpgear HG50 for sale .
This Amp is in mint condition and sounds great 4x10's 50 watts needs new power tubes So I reduced the price to $ 999. plus shipping firm !
I just bought a 1963 Concert amp that I can use for Harp and Guitar and don't need two large amps .
My loss is your gain . Here is your chance to get a 1,750 Amp for $ 999. ! Please contact me offline
My contact info is on my website

Thanks Todd

From the harpgear site

The HarpGear 50 is HarpGear's next step in building a full sized amp which achieves 50W using a fixed bias 6L6 setup. This is the amp that Jason Ricci has recently endorsed and now uses exclusively on the road. This amp is setup specifically for harmonica and uses all of our standard harp amp modifications we have become known for. This amp was designed to add flexibility to our amp line and allow you to play in any size venue with the confidence of knowing you won't need to mic the amp or connect the line out to the sound board. The standard HarpGear 50 uses two Weber 10A125 custom alnico speakers and two Jensen Special Design P10R alnico speakers with one 12AX7 and one 12AX7WC preamp tube 2- 6L6 power tubes and 1-5AR4 rectifier tube. The amp has three adjustable tone controls being Bass, Middle and Treble. This amp has an oversized custom wound output transformer like the other amps and even more great bass to really accentuate those low notes while you're playing. The tube configuration for this amp is as follows:(1)5AR4 (2) 6L6 power tubes (1) 12AX7WC (1) 12AX7 preamp tube. This amp is 23"H X 24"W x 10.5"D and weighs 45 lbs. This amp will generate 50 watts of power which comes across very loud.

EDIT: The D is sold.

I've got 5 stainless steel combs from the Bushman Steelie harmonicas, which were basically clones of the Huang Silvertone Deluxe.

My friend, Mike Street, uses these combs in Marine Band harps, but I think you have to drill some extra holes to make them fit. They are labeled in G, Ab, A, C and D. The A looks like it was sanded flat, or at least attempted to be sanded flat.

$15 each or all 5 for $65. Here's a video that Mike Street posted a few years ago. You can see the comb here:

I took a small gamble and bought harmonicas from a Chinese wholesale supplier because I wanted to try out a bass and some different types of harps. I'm happy to report that the company is legit and, to me, the harps are worth their price. The down side was that on many items they require you to buy two. So I have duplicate harmonicas to off load.

The bass is spoken for, but I have for sale:

1 Leo Shi Alto sequence scale harmonica new in case (it is a C scale, tremolo-toned 22 hole harmonica. Notes are alternating blow and draw, but there are only the two reeds creating the tremolo per hole)
10$+shipping

1 set of C and C# scale Leo Shi (Golden cup) Octave sequence scale harmonicas, 2 new harmonicas in single case. (also 22 hole, octaves, alternating blow/draw) 15$+shipping

1 triple stack chord harmonica new in wooden case. The top harmonica has blow chords in Gm,Dm,Am,Em, and Bm. The middle has blow chords in Bb, F, C, G, D. The lower harmonica has draw chords F7, C7,G7, D7, A7 80$+ shipping

My email is in my profile. I can skype so you can hear my set of these harps. If you live in Northern California, we may be able to arrange pick up and avoid shipping costs.

Hi all.
Well, Ive decided to sell off my Hohner Marine Band 1896/20 Classic's. The keys are from G to E. No B, instead its Bb. I have fully sealed all the combs. Opened up the backs. And reinforced the cover plates so as not to crush by putting screws in. Im asking $150 for them. No more then what I paid. BTW,I haven't really put them to much use. There's maybe an hour/hour & a half of play time on them. I tend to use my Manji Bb all the time. Any questions or inquirers e-mail me at : theginzo@yahoo.com Be sure to put Hohner harps in the subject line so I dont treat it as spam. Will ship to continental US only.

Thanks,
Jimmy

I have a Low Eb Marine Band for sale. I've played it for maybe ten minutes and have done nothing to the reeds other than minimal gapping.

The coverplates are open, I used a punch to create room for the 1 draw reed to swing, it has been drilled/tapped and now sits on a sweet looking walnut dymonwood comb.

Visually, it looks fantastic. It plays just dandy too, but I did not mod it beyond gapping, and I have not checked the tuning.

All yours PayPal'ed and shipped in the US for $60.

If you want me to service the harp beyond cleaning it before shipping, I am willing to do so at an additional time and cost.

I also have a standard Eb Marine Band on a sealed wood comb (I also used non-toxic clear nail polish on the outside of the comb). Right now, it has Special 20 cover plates, but I have the stock MB cover plates as well. Same deal as the Low Eb...I gapped it, but that is it. I haven't checked the tuning or anything else. It too has probably been played for 5 minutes or so.

This one will run $50.

Both can ship tomorrow over my lunch break.

Thanks!

I have a Hohner Auto Valve Harp in the key of A. The number is 105/40A. It's on older harp and is in Playable condition but would need taken apart and cleaned. ( I don't know how to do this with this harp so it would be up to anyone interested.) Original box included.
I would trade this for a nice wood comb diatonic (preferably one that screws together). If interested, I can send pics tonite.

Golden Melody 1970s
Tuning - Spiral Harmonic Minor (raised 1 blow variation)
Key - Ab (labeled after 1draw)

G Bb Db E Ab B Eb G Bb Db
Ab B Eb G Bb Db E Ab B Eb

Intonation - 441hz TEMPERED.
Embossed and gapped for optimal response.

Full-valved using reliable Seydel SAXONY valves.
Custom comb - Bubingo

THis is one of the most intuitive tunings ever. Designed to be played in Ab harmonic minor and Eb freygish (Jewish scale). Full-valving adds great expressiveness and fullness to the sound.

100EUR.

Please note: the instrument is dated around the 1970's and is made using original parts. Therefore, some regular wear&tear is present on the reedplates.

This is a great opportunity to acquire a classic 70's instrument with full customisation and a great tuning. The harmonica is ready, so you don't have to wait for it.

Need an extra B-Radical comb? I have one that is non-vented, which was sort of a prototype, and it also has no serial number attached to it. $50, with free shipping in the USA.

I also have 2 new acrylic Golden Melody combs with rounded tines from Chris Reynolds for sale. One is fluorescent green and the other is fluorescent blue. Pretty wild colors, but they work great for alternate tuned harps to make them more easily identifiable. They also machine out to be a little thinner than other comb materials, which makes the harp slightly more responsive. Comb material doesn't make much of a difference, but thickness does. I use these acrylic combs in a few of my harps, especially lower keys.

$12 each, with free shipping in the USA.

I also have a Reynolds pink ivory Golden Melody comb with rounded tines. It's not actually pink in color - it's more of a tan/brown color. I assembled a harp on this one, but didn't care for the color - I was expecting it to be more pink. There is a slight imperfection on the right-hand outer edge of the this comb, which appears to be an indention from machining, but this does not affect play. However, because of this, I'm only asking $20 for this comb, with free shipping in the USA.

All 3 Reynolds combs have also been pre-drilled for 2 center support beams in the back, which means you can fold under the Golden Melody center support and replace it with brass support beams. (You can easily buy brass rod at a local hardware store that will fit these combs, and cut your own support beams to length.)

Contact me at the e-mail address in my profile if interested.

I still have 4 stainless steel combs from the Bushman Steelie harmonicas, which were basically clones of the Huang Silvertone Deluxe.

My friend, Mike Street, uses these combs in Marine Band harps, but I think you may have to drill some extra holes to make them fit. They are labeled in G, Ab, A, and C. The A looks like it was sanded flat, or at least attempted to be sanded flat.

$12 each for the G, Ab and C, and $10 for the A due to the apparent sanding. See my original ad on page 4 of this thread for a YouTube video that shows the comb.

Purchase all 4 and I'll let them go for $40 with free shipping in the USA.

I'm not aware of any comb makers who are offering stainless steel combs these days, as it's a dificult material to work with. So, this may be a good option if you're looking to upgade your Marine Bands with stainless combs.
