I have 4 new packaged sets of High Ab reed plates for the old Weltmeister Blackbird harmonica (which Seydel used to manufacture), which was basically the same harp as the Bushman Soul's voice and the Seydel Blues Session. $15 each or all 4 for $40. Since these are the same plates as the Seydel Blues Session plates, they'll fit the Blues Session just fine.
(Note: A new Blues Session in High Ab costs around $40 online, and the reed plates are around $28, so here's an inexpensive way to get this odd key.)
Free shipping in the USA.
Still have 1 brand new Marine Band Deluxe in the key of B. $33 with free shipping in the USA.
Contact me at the e-mail address in my profile if interested.
we're letting go of a guitar here. it's a beaut but physically too big for Jolene to keep playing as follows: EPIPHONE EMPEROR REGENT Guitar - $450 (Little Rock Area)
This is a PRISTINE gently played 3 year old single humbucker guitar. Sunburst finish, no scratches or dings. No longer made by Epiphone, we got one of the last! Plays like a dream, great blues/jazz/swing model with a big sweet sound. NOT a garden variety Joe Pass guitar but a true big box big sound guitar. Hard shell case included. pics available on request. Local pickup only. We have audio/video of this guitar being played, just ask!
Ive got an as-new/hardly played Hohner 150th Anniversary harp if anyone wants it?
It comes in a mahogany presentation box with "150th" logo and brass clasp, and the harp is an MS model but with engraved top plate and clear acrylic comb.
Plays really well, very airtight and with a strong fruity tone.
If anyone is interested, mail me...
I'm in the U.K but can send anywhere (Ive posted stuff all over the world no problem).
Postage cost will be: UK: £2 (recorded), E.U: £5 (signed for), and anywhere else (U.S/Canada/Aus/Asia etc): £6 (signed for).
My Piazza Purple JT30 with CM99A86 element is still for sale. £160GBP ($258USD) plus shipping. Email paulandrewroutledge@googlemail.com if you're interested.
Here's a video of me using the mic into a VHT Special 6 amp
Still available! Just had a fellow ask about these on my YouTube channel--where I demo them. http://www.youtube.com/user/GaryLehmann#p/u/2/pHzuvNi-kic I've got two Newton Fourkey tuned Special 20s available--both in the key of G (so also play in D, A, and E with no bending), one starts on D4, the other starts on G4. One note short of two octave range on a 10 hole Fourkey, so that's why there's two of them, but I will split them up--$50 each plus shipping by USPS, tuned to 441. Photos on request, I just polished them up with Maas Metal polish, as I have another fellow asking about them--first come, first serve. If you need more info on Fourkey, we have a thread going on Slidemeister--Jazmaan and I came up with a slide version, that'll keep you busy! Send me an email at gnarlyheman AT gmail DOT com if you want to discuss this generous offer of a revolutionary tuning on a popular harmonica (well, some folks like them).

In addition to the Astatic JT30 that is in the video above. I also have two Shure 545SD mics for sale. One has some engraving on the barrel, which was there when I bought it. One has a made in Mexico element, the other is a made in USA element. Both great mics. The price is £65GBP each plus shipping. I also have a VHT Special 6 that I'd be willing to part with for £100 plus shipping. If anyone is interested my email is paulandrewroutledge@googlemail.com
Vintage 47 "National" Harp amp. Beautiful looking and great sounding National type amp made by Vintage 47. 12 watts from 2 JJ,6V6's 5y3 rectifier and all octal pre amp with a 6sc7 and 6sq7 tubes. 10" weber sig. alnico. Very good feedback threshold. Two tone blue and creme with a real nice two tone cover. pix available. $525 shipped. phoff45@hotmail.com
The amp is in fantastic shape and has a Tuki Cover. All original tubes and such. I never tinkered with it even one bit. It is overkill for me and I'd rather downsize to a Princeton Reverb (ONLY trade I would consider) and fund some home recording gear.
I've played this amp in all sorts of room and it has a massive amount of thump and volume. I would put it head to head against just about any 4x10 amp out there. I am not one to exaggerate...it is a terrific amp, but does not meet my gigging needs for the long range future.
I am wanting to get $900 plus actual shipping. I am willing to throw in a totally custom harp for the buyer OR the person that finds me a buyer.
I have the following harps for sale. MB 1896 D fully customized harp $100 MBD D fully customized harp $100 I have a supply of NOS Marine Bands that I will sell for $75 apiece. I sand the combs and the draw plates flat, soak the comb in mineral oil so it won't swell, set the reeds and tune each. I don't have any B C or F#, but all the other keys. I also sell new Marine Bands and SP 20's with reed work and tuned for $55 Crossovers for $80 Kevin Baker sbaker60@cox.net

HG50 1210 is still available. I've had a lot of cash plus trade offers, but I am only really interested in something like a Princeton Reverb or PR Reissue. I don't have a need for a small vintage amp, etc.
I would maybe consider a small HarpGear amp...maybe.
I'm selling a Crate VC508 amp, about 5watts, 8" speaker. See the Craigslist posting link below for photos. Nice small tube amp for practice or gigging. Solidly built, and nice gritty tone. Surprisingly loud for such a small amp, and well suited for gigging in small venues. There are a number of mods published for it, but this one is stock, except that I replaced the power tube (12AX7 replaced with 12AU7). I still have the original tube and will include both.
The VC508 was discontinued, so you can't buy them new anymore. It has an insert jack, which is very unusual and very useful; you can use it to insert effects but it also doubles as a line-output so you can run it into the PA, and you can loop it back to the Crate so you have on-stage monitoring from through power tube.
I've only gigged with it a few times, mostly it was used around my house to learn how to use a mic with harp. So it's not road-weary, but it has some scuffs from being pushed under the bed or other furniture, etc. No functional issues. I've collected a few amps and I'm moving, so stuff I'm not using has to go.
If you're interested, respond to the Craigslist ad, but mention that you saw it on Dirty South so I'll know you're not a spammer.
The amp is located in northwestern lower Michigan near Traverse City; we can talk about the best shipping shipping method for you.

I just recieved a couple of aluminum Golden melody combs from Chris Reynolds today, and I need to sell one of them. It has the rounded/radiused tines, and it is brand new, never used. I'm asking $17 shipped.
Chris's combs are great. He makes them to order so you ussually have to wait at least a couple weeks to recieve an order (my order took just over a month, but it's worth the wait). So this is good oppurtunity to try out one of his combs without the wait, and save a few dollars too.
I am selling off my entire blues CD and DVD collection. I have over 200 CD's and around 30 DVD's. About 99% of the CD's are harmonica based, same with the DVD's. A few of the CD's and DVD's are bootleg (about 5%). There are too many to list so I'll take some pics and post them up.
The buyer would have to collect or arrange shipping for them. So as I'm UK based it's most probably a UK only sale (unless you want to pay heavy shipping costs). I'm not really sure how much to ask for this lot, but I won't sell it for a song. So my suggestion is that anyone who is interested emails me with their bid, then I'll sell it all to the highest bidder. So if you're serious about buying them then send me a realistic bid. Don't send a silly offer as I obviously won't accept it. I also will not trade them for other goods. Payment will be either by cash on collection or Paypal. The winning bidder pays all shipping costs.
All email bids to paulandrewroutledge@googlemail.com
I still have a HG50 1210 for sale...The absolute best offer I can make is $925 SHIPPED. Previously, I had it listed for $900 plus shipping, which would have been closer to $975 total.
$925 shipped with Tuki cover in a custom double box and insured...if it doesn't go in the next week, I'll just hold onto it. ---------- Mike Quicksilver Custom Harmonicas
I have 2 Thunderbirds for sale... a low D, and a low C. The low C, however, is a prototype I received from Hohner. It has a blank top cover plate. I picked up the D at SPAH. Neither one have been played very much at all, and I'll be glad to clean them with alcohol before shipping.
D - $95 C - $100
Free shipping in the USA.
Also for sale is a Shure 55SH Series II microphone, which is basically an Elvis microphone. This isn't a harmonica mic, but a vocal mic. Looks great on stage. I've used it maybe twice for Christmas banquets. Thought I'd post it here before going to Ebay.
$125 - Free shipping in the USA.
Not sure if this is of any interest, but I also have an AKG D112 kick drum mic, which is pretty much the industry standard for recording and live performance. I used this mic to record one song, and it was then boxed up and placed in the closet. If you know a drummer that would be interested, let me know before I place it on Ebay.
$125 - Free shipping in USA. (These sell new for $200.)
I am also considering selling my B-Radical in A, which was customized by Joe Spiers, and would prefer to list it here and take offers, rather than on Ebay. We'll see.... It's a great harp, but I just don't use the key of A very much.

Just bought a bogen 20W head and homemade speaker cab with(4) 6" by 9" speakers from "bluesonthewater" off of this forum. Just wanted y'all to know I couldn't be happier. It is the bomb. This thing has beautiful tone, and blows my blues junior clean out of the water, doesn't even compare.. Also had quick shipment and really well packed. thanks John, you are the man!

Does anyone have a Gretsch G5222 amp lying around that they don't use anymore and want to sell by chance? Thanks
Last Edited by on Sep 15, 2011 2:51 PM
FOR HONDO. I have a g5222 that has been modified for harp. It has more of 5f1 circuit. It has a little less preamp gain. An 8 inch ceramic weber harp dust cap speaker in it and eh 6v6 and a harma retro 12a?7. I am in the uk and open to offers. I am open to offers on a frontandcentre mic. My email is lukejones33 - at - hot mail dot com
@drawdown. I bought an re10 from bluesonthewater. Gave me a great price. Great service. Quick shipping and wouldn't hesitate to buy again from bluesonthewater.
Here's the pictures of some of the CD's and DVD's in the collection I'm selling off. CD's and DVD's
There are also about another 60 CD's and DVD's without covers (most of which are bootleg material) I'm selling it as a job lot. The buyer has to either collect or arrange shipping. I'm based in Lancashire in the UK. I'm willing to sell the entire collection for £275GBP plus shipping. If you were to buy all these new it would cost you in excess of £2000GBP ($3000USD)
I only accept paypal or cash on collection. Anyone who is interested contact me on paulandrewroutledge@googlemail.com
I also still have a purple JT30 CM99A86 element (£160GBP) and two Shure 545SD mics (£75GBP each) for sale. Buyer pays all shipping costs.

Having roughly counted up. There are around 250-300 CD's and 20-30 DVD's in the collection. This really is a dream collection for a blues harmonica fan. In addition to the other stuff I also have a Hohner Chromonica 270 in C for sale, £60GBP plus shipping.
All of these goods have to go as I need the money to pay off some big bills. If they don't sell here then I'll list them on ebay.co.uk as "Buy it Now" in the next week or so.
I have now listed the JT30 and the Chromonica on ebay. Here's the link: JT30 for sale
Seeing as nobody seems to want to buy a complete CD and DVD collection. I have decided to sell the CD's individually for £2GBP ($4USD) each plus shipping and the DVD's for £5GBP ($8USD) each plus shipping.
I will sell batches of CD's (for example if someone wants to buy, say all the Primich CD's or all the Piazza CD's)a little cheaper.
I have DVD's by Paul Lamb, Rod Piazza, Mark Hummel, Rick Estrin, William Clarke, James Harman, Gary Smith. CD's too many to list. Pictures are here: CD's and DVD's
All the bootleg stuff CD's and DVD's are for sale in batches. I'm open to reasonable offers.
Send me an email at paulandrewroutledge@googlemail.com if you're interested in any of the items.

Well, there were several nice comments about the Harp Hookah when I introduced it last week, but no orders came in.
So, just in case somebody out there is sitting on the fence and is tempted to buy a Hookah, I'm prepared to make them for a reduced price.
For MBH people only, I will make a Hookah for you for a $75.00 USD price reduction. So the price for your very own hookah would be $190. With the price of materials, and the need to make some money for my time, I just can't offer them any cheaper.
This price is only good for a short time--I am having some money problems and I will have to sell my mill if I can't start making at least a bit of money with it. Once I sell the mill, the Harp Hookah and the Bosser will no longer be available.
If you have any questions, just send me an email by clicking on my user name to get my address. . .
I ordered the wrong model of harmonica for a custom order. Good news is, I caught the mistake. Bad news is, I had already started all the harps!
I have 3 Golden Melodies in the keys of C and Bb with Sjoeberg combs that I can ship in the next two weeks (need to check tuning and if buyer wants OB setup, I need to factor in time to gap to their style). Currently they are set up to ET at 442. I can gap them for a full overbend setup or not...and if you are more of a blues player, we can change the tuning too.
$200 each, or best offer, for Overbend Set-up ($375 for all three)
$160 each, or best offer, for Standard Set-up ($300 for all three)
Regarding possible trades, I'd be interested in the following:

I promised myself I'd simmer on trying to unload this, but my current gigging state has me not needing this amp anymore (and not needing it in the future).
Very cool old Silvertone combo. 2x25 watt channels, which can be bridged for 50 watts of output.
Previous owner replaced the flubby Silvertone 12" speakers with very tight Allen C1060 10" speakers with giant ceramic magnets. Amp is very tight in the bottom and is ideal for guitar or harp. He also removed the crappy Silvertone reverb tank, so there's no reverb. But tremolo works great.
4x6L6, 3x12AX7, 6CG7, 5U4GB and 6AU6.
This is a very loud, very crunch amp and was the top of the line for Silvertone in 61-62. It was the first production amplifier with built-in reverb (but not anymore). It was replaced by the 1484, which was the tuck-away head and cabinet.
It shows its age, with some peeling tolex. Someone covered two holes in the top of the cabinet with strips of velcro. However, the cabinet is very solid, and the new baffle for the 10" speakers is perfect.
Open to trades for 6V6 15-20W tube amp.
Bought it from a harp player in Portland, OR. Shipped it to me in Boston, but he was able to demo it for me via Skype. I'd be happy to do the same.
I can be reached at joshua(dot)nathan(at)gmail(dot)com or 617-784-7403. See photos in the flash slideshow below
